Frontiers Universal manufacture and export E1W Gland/E1W Cable Glands. The E1W is ideal for checking electrical continuity and has a three-part armour lock with separate locking. It also has a dual weatherproof design with the outer seal gripping the cable's sheath and the inner seal gripping the cable's bedding layer, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It can be used in corrosive environments when protected with shroud. Once it is fixed to the necessary wires and wire components, this E1W type cable gland is renowned for providing continuous service. The inner layer of the cable is gripped by the inner seal. These are made of premium Brass.

When it is necessary to create an IP 66 seal on the outer sheath of any form of SWA extruded bedded cable, E1W Cable Gland is utilized. Additionally, this results in an IP 66 or explosion proof seal on the inner sheath. It provides sealing for the cable's inner and outer sheaths. These are also available with CIEL (cast integral earth lug). E1W cable gland include a two-part armor/earth lock, knurled armour lock that creates a low resistance earth clip, inner and outer displacement, and IP 66 rating when used with an entry thread seal.
